Job Summary
VerbaCare is a clinician- and educator-led Special Education staffing partner supporting
public school districts across California. Our leadership team brings firsthand
experience in special education classrooms, allowing us to provide meaningful, practical
support to educators.
We are seeking Special Day Class (SDC) Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year
across multiple school districts. This role is ideal for both experienced educators and
new graduates looking for structured support and mentorship.

Position Details
 Start Date: August 2026
 Work Year: 180–190 school days

Key Responsibilities
 Serve as the Special Day Class teacher of record
 Implement and monitor IEP goals and individualized instruction
 Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and
administrators
 Develop and maintain a structured, inclusive classroom environment
 Support students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
 Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with special education
standards

 Support with IEP implementation and documentation systems (e.g., SEIS,
Welligent)
 Regular check-ins to ensure placement success and sustainability
