Job Overview

The Instructional Assistant (IA) supports teachers in delivering instructional and classroom activities, helping to create a positive and effective learning environment. This role involves working with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and support overall classroom operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities
• Provide support to students in one-on-one or small group settings
• Help reinforce lessons and ensure student engagement
• Support classroom management and organization
• Assist with preparation of instructional materials
• Monitor student progress and behavior as directed
• Support students during transitions and school activities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
